McKenzie's Pure Bee Pollen. Sold in multiples of 5.
Pollen is collected from plant anthers and brought back to the hive where bees mix it with honey and store it in cells. The pollen molecule is like a coconut, and needs to be broken open by something acidic, like honey. Once the honey and pollen sit together in the hive for a few days, the resulting product is called bee bread. The nurse bees in the colony then consume this bee bread and create royal jelly to feed the larvae in the colony.
Bee Pollen contains up to 27% proteins, 5% lipids, essential fatty acids, Vitamin A, B1, B2, B6, C, D and E, as well as all the minerals our body requires.
